My film credits include Hellboy, Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow, and The Day After Tomorrow. On Hellboy, I worked on the only all-digital animation sequence,  the attack of the Ogdru Jihad -- affectionately known as "OJ" -- a school of giant squid-like creatures from outer space. I also TD'd a giant, fiery laser beam shot at the moon to summon the aforementioned octopi, some cool swirling clouds, various fluidy flames, snow flurries and other ephemera. I also worked on a number of matte painting projections used for set extensions.

My work on the other films included a swarm of parachuting space pods, a crashing helicopter with billowing snow, and lots of blowing, drifting, falling and flurrying snow, respectively.  It takes a lot of technical artists to make one of these effects heavy films! It's a gruelling, but rewarding, experience.
